Take it apart

Two halves. One board.

The base is two bent aluminium halves that meet in a ridge. Each has a short upright lip and a slope down to the floor. The board sits in the slot between the lips, clamped front and back. No screws.

Six things to get right on a 1.5m board.

One PDF, at size

Send a PDF at the board size: 600, 800 or 1000mm wide by 1500mm tall. One page, portrait. JPEG and PNG are fine for photo-led designs.

Bleed

Run backgrounds 3mm past the edge on every side, so a 80cm board is 806 × 1506mm. No crop marks.

Keep the bottom clear

The wedge base covers the bottom of the board. Keep text, logos and arrows at least 100mm up from the bottom edge. Background colour can run all the way down.

Text size

People read these from across a room. Make the main message 70pt or bigger and nothing under 24pt. Short and big beats long and small.

Resolution

150dpi at full size is plenty. Screenshots and images from WhatsApp will look soft at 1.5m tall.

Colour

CMYK is safest. RGB prints fine, but neon greens and electric blues come out a touch duller. Flatten transparency before you export.

What's a wedge base stand?

A printed 10mm board that stands in an aluminium base made of two bent wedges. They meet in a ridge: each half has a short upright lip and a slope down to the floor, and the board sits in the slot between the lips. No poles, no cassette, no tools.

How long does it take to set up?

About ten seconds. Put the two wedges down, drop the board in, done. Packing down is the same in reverse.

What sizes can I get?

60, 80 or 100cm wide, all 150cm tall. Other sizes and double-sided boards by email quote: hello@rapidprintpro.com.

What does "Board only" mean?

Just the printed board, no base. Order it when you already have a base in that width and want a new design. Lift the old board out, drop the new one in.

Is it stable?

Yes, on carpet, tile and wood. The base is wide and the board sits low in it. It's an indoor stand, so it isn't made to cope with wind.

Can it go outside?

No, it's for indoors. For outside, try our teardrop flags or PVC banners.

Can I get it the same day?

Yes. Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and it's printed today. Collect free from 27 Tabard Street, SE1 4LA, have it couriered across London (arrives same day, £45), or DPD next working day from £6.99.

How does it arrive?

Flat. The board is wrapped and the base is packed separately so the two don't scuff each other.

Is it printed or a sticker?

Printed direct onto the board with UV-cured ink. Nothing to peel, waterproof, and it stands up to being wiped and carried about.

Yes. Send the words, your logo and any photos to hello@rapidprintpro.com and we'll lay it out and send a proof before printing.

Are prices ex VAT?

Yes. 20% VAT is added at checkout. The price box at the top shows both, plus the delivery you've picked.
