Q: What's the difference between Budget and Premium?

An LED light box is an aluminium frame with LED light bars built in. Your graphic is printed on fabric with a thin silicone edge (SEG) that pushes into a channel round the frame, so it sits drum-tight with no creases, and the LEDs light it evenly from behind.

On a busy show floor it's the thing people see first. Every kit is the full set: frame with the LEDs fitted, printed graphic, stabilising feet, power supply and a padded carry bag. Thirty seconds of homework

Two choices that matter.

Budget or Premium? Same glow. Different height.

Budget is 85cm wide and 2m tall in a silver aluminium frame with grey fittings. Full LED glow, complete kit, and the 2m height slips under low ceilings, mezzanines and shell scheme beams. Premium is 2.3m tall in a sleeker white frame: an extra 30cm that reads from right across the hall.

Rule of thumbCeiling under 2.4m or a tight shop floor: Budget. Exhibition hall: Premium.

Single or double sided? Work one crowd, or both.

Going against a wall? Single is all you need, and it comes with a blackout back so no light leaks. Standing in an aisle where people come at it from both directions? Double works both crowds from the same floor space: twice the impressions, one footprint.

Lay the frame sections, feet, graphic and power supply out on a clear bit of floor.

Match the shape stickers on each section, circle to circle, square to square, and click the rectangle together. No tools.
Fit the feet
The twist-out feet lock on and keep it steady, even in a busy aisle.
Stand it up
Lift it upright, check it's square and not leaning, and give the corners a final push so everything is fully seated.
Push in the graphic
Start at the corners and push the silicone edge into the channel, then work round the frame keeping the tension even. Double sided: repeat on the back.
Plug in and switch on
Mains socket, switch on, one last look: alignment, no puckers, feet steady. It glows.

Five things to get right on a light box.

Size and format

Supply at 100% scale, at the visible size of the light box. PDF is best. PNG and JPEG are fine.

Resolution

150dpi at full size as a minimum. Original images only: screenshots and WhatsApp forwards look soft once they're lit from behind.

Keep off the edges

Keep text and logos 30mm inside every edge. Run the background right to the edge.

The SEG edge

Don't add anything for the silicone edge. We add the SEG allowance for you when we set the file up.

Colour when it's lit

Backlit colours look brighter and punchier than they do on screen. If a brand colour has to match exactly, ask us about a proof before it prints.

What if I order on a Friday or at the weekend?

Order by 11am on Friday and it can be with you on Saturday (£19.99) or Monday. After 11am on Friday, or over the weekend, it goes into production on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Can I change the graphic later?

Yes. The SEG graphic pulls out and pushes back in by hand, no tools. One frame, endless campaigns: a replacement graphic costs a fraction of a new display. Keep the frame and LEDs and email us for a new graphic when the campaign changes.

At 100% scale, PDF preferred (PNG and JPEG are fine), at least 150dpi at full size, with text 30mm inside the edges. We add the SEG edge allowance and a person checks every file before it prints.
