The bit they keep.
Everything else you print gets read once and recycled. A card goes in a wallet and comes back out six weeks later. Keep scrolling.
Colour that pops.
Smooth silk coating on weighty recycled card. Photos stay crisp and logos stay sharp.
Means business by hand.
Thick, textured, handcrafted. Colour goes muted on brown, so design bold and black-led.
You feel it first.
A natural tactile texture with soft matte colour. Quiet, considered, a little artisan.
The thumb-rub finish.
A velvet film that makes dark, minimal designs look expensive and keeps cards scuff-free in a pocket.

No thin cards. Ever.
A business card is the only thing you print that has to survive being handled, pocketed and judged. So there's no flimsy option to pick by accident: every card here is 400gsm, printed and trimmed in Tabard Street with a 3pm cutoff.
How to order: pick sides, stock, finish and quantity above for an instant price, then upload your artwork. A person checks every file for soft logos, missing bleed and text too near the trim before a sheet goes on the press.
Networking and events, new starters and rebrands, freelancers and studios, cafΓ©s and shops, appointment and loyalty cards, and anyone who needs cards for tomorrow's meeting.
See them in the hand.
Pick your card.
Short version: colour and photos, Silk. Bold and black, Kraft. Quiet and elegant, Textured. Make it memorable, add soft touch.
A smooth silk coating on weighty recycled card. Colour pops and photos stay crisp, so it suits almost any design. Best for: Colour-led branding, photography, gradients, anything you're not sure about.
Thick, textured brown card with a handcrafted feel. Colour prints muted on brown, so go bold, black-led and high contrast. Best for: Black-led logos, minimal branding, strong type, coffee and craft trades.
A natural tactile texture you feel before you read it. Colour prints soft and matte, which flatters muted palettes and clean type. Best for: Considered, elegant branding. Studios, architects, therapists, anything quiet.
A velvet lamination that turns a good card into one people can't put down, and keeps it looking new after a fortnight in a jacket pocket. It makes dark, minimal designs look seriously slick. Worth knowing: it softens very bright colours a little, so for maximum punch on a vivid design, go without.
Want it greener? Our eco business cards come on Recycled Coffee Cup, Brown Kraft and Bio Seaweed.
Set it up once.
Finished size is 85 Γ 55mm: wallets, card holders and every slot ever made. If anything runs to the edge, set your page to 91 Γ 61mm so the background runs 3mm past the trim. Keep text and logos 3mm inside the cut line.
Double sided? One PDF, two pages, front first. Crop marks are welcome but not needed.
The risky oneA thin border right on the trim. Cards are cut in stacks and stacks move a fraction, so the border looks uneven. Make it thicker, or lose it.
Beyond the standard card.
None of these run through the configurator. Tell us what you want and we'll price it, and flag your deadline: bespoke finishing takes longer than the 3pm cutoff.
When you'll have it.
Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and your cards are printed and trimmed the same day. Collect free from 27 Tabard Street, SE1 4LA, two minutes from Borough tube. We'll email you when they're ready.

Artwork, sorted.
Six things to get right on a card.
Size and bleed
Finished size is 85 Γ 55mm. If anything runs to the edge, set the page to 91 Γ 61mm and let the background run into the extra 3mm. Inside a white border? No bleed needed.
Keep text 3mm in
Text, logos and borders at least 3mm inside the trim. Cards are cut in stacks and stacks move a fraction, which is why a thin border is the riskiest thing on a card.
File type
A print-ready PDF is best (PDF/X-1a if you can). JPEG and PNG work too. Double sided: one PDF, two pages, front first.
Resolution
300dpi at full size. A card is read at arm's length, so a soft logo shows. Use the original logo file, never one pulled off a website or a WhatsApp export.
Type size
Keep type above 7pt. 6pt is the absolute floor, and it's smaller than you think at 85mm wide. If the phone number needs a squint, the card has failed.
Flatten transparency
Drop shadows, glows and blend modes look fine on screen and do strange things on press. Flatten before you export and what you see is what you get.
Questions.
What size are your business cards?
85 Γ 55mm finished, the UK standard: it fits a wallet, a card holder and every slot ever made. With bleed, set your page to 91 Γ 61mm and keep text 3mm inside the trim. Full colour, single or double sided.
Which card stock should I choose?
All three are 400gsm. Recycled Silk for colour and photos: the all-rounder. Brown Kraft for bold, black-led designs: colour prints muted on brown. Off White Textured for quiet, elegant branding with soft matte colour.
What is soft touch velvet lamination?
A velvet-feel film over the printed card. It adds durability and scuff resistance, and makes dark, minimal designs look genuinely expensive. It softens very bright colours slightly, so for maximum punch on a vivid design, go without.
What quantities can I order, and what do they cost?
100, 200, 300, 400, 500 or 1,000, from Β£39 ex VAT. The jump from 100 to 500 is smaller than most people expect, because the set-up is the same either way, so check both before you decide.
Can I get rounded corners, die-cut shapes or spot UV?
Yes, as bespoke work priced individually, not through the configurator: rounded corners, die-cut shapes, spot UV, matt or gloss lamination, other stocks and sizes. Email hello@rapidprintpro.com and flag your deadline, because bespoke finishing takes longer than the 3pm cutoff.
Do you do eco business cards?
Yes: Recycled Coffee Cup, Brown Kraft and Bio Seaweed, on our eco business cards page. Same size, same speed.
Do I need bleed and crop marks?
Bleed only if your design runs to the edge: add 3mm all round and supply at 91 Γ 61mm. Crop marks aren't needed, but they're welcome if they sit outside the bleed. Not sure? Upload what you have and our artwork team will sort it.
How should I supply my artwork?
PDF, JPEG or PNG, at 300dpi. Double sided: one PDF with two pages, front first. Flatten transparency and use your original logo file. A real person checks every file before it prints.
We need cards for the whole team. How does that work?
Each person's details are a separate order, one per name. Got a lot of them? Email hello@rapidprintpro.com and we'll sort the easiest way to run them together.
When will I get my cards?
Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and they're printed and trimmed the same day. Then:
- Collect from Tabard Street, SE1: free, same day. We'll email you when it's ready
