Café barriers · printed in London

Your pavement. Your brand.

Printed banners on stainless steel posts that mark out your tables, steer the queue and tell the street who you are. Keep scrolling.

Take one apart

Four parts. No tools.

A weighted base, a stainless post, two crossbars and a printed banner with a sleeve top and bottom. That's the whole thing.

Put it together

Twist. Click. Slide.

Posts twist onto the bases, the crossbars click into the posts, and the banner slides onto the bars like a pillowcase. A couple of minutes a section.

Make it longer

Full kit. Then add on.

A full kit is 1.5m with a post at each end. Each add-on shares the last post and adds another 1.5m, so a run is as long as your pavement.

British weather

Wind. Rain. Still standing.

Weatherproof polyester that moves with a gust instead of fighting it, on 8kg of post and base per end.

New season

Keep the posts. Swap the print.

Order "Print only" and the new banner slides onto your existing bars. Summer menu, Christmas, a new name over the door.

Full kit from £253

Printed in London. On your pavement.

Printed café barriers on stainless steel posts outside a café, made by Rapid Print Pro in London

Café barriers · printed in London

The best ad space you already rent.

The bit of pavement in front of your tables is seen by everyone who walks past. A printed barrier turns it into a sign, marks out your seating and keeps the queue in line, all at once.

Each 1.5m section is a printed polyester banner on two stainless steel crossbars between weighted posts. Start with a full kit and clip on add-ons until it fits your frontage.

Artwork, sorted.

Six things to get right on a barrier banner.

Ask for the template

Email hello@rapidprintpro.com and we'll send the café barrier template with the sleeves marked, so nothing important ends up wrapped round a bar.

Keep clear of the sleeves

The top and bottom of the banner fold over the crossbars. Keep text and logos at least 60mm in from the top and bottom edges, and 30mm from the sides.

Big and short

People read it walking past. Name, one line and maybe an arrow. Make the name as big as the banner allows.

Resolution

150dpi at full size is plenty. Logos as vectors (PDF, AI, EPS or SVG) stay sharp at any size.

Colour

Fabric prints rich, saturated colour. Very pale tints and fine hairlines can fade into the weave, so keep lines thicker than 1mm.

Single-sided

The print shows through to the back as a mirror image, which is normal for printed fabric. Want a proper back too? Email us for a double-sided quote.

Questions.

What's in a full kit?

Two stainless steel posts, two weighted bases, two crossbars and a printed banner sleeved top and bottom. One complete 1.5m section.

What's an add-on?

One post, one base, two crossbars and a banner. It shares the end post of the section before it, so each add-on adds 1.5m to your run.

What's print only?

Just the printed banner, sleeved to fit the crossbars you already have. Handy for new seasons, menus or a rebrand.

How long can a run be?

As long as you like: one full kit, then add-ons. 4.5m is a full kit and two add-ons. Use the planner above to work it out.

How heavy are they?

About 8kg per post and base. Heavy enough to stay put in normal wind, light enough to carry in at closing.

Will they blow over?

The fabric lets a gust move through it rather than acting like a sail, and the bases are weighted. In storm-force wind, bring them in, same as your tables and umbrellas.

Can I leave them out in the rain?

Yes. The banner is weatherproof polyester and the frame is stainless steel. Wipe the banner down when it gets grubby.

Do I need tools?

No. Posts twist onto the bases, crossbars click into the posts and the banner slides onto the bars.

Do I need a licence?

Barriers on the public pavement usually come under your council pavement licence for tables and chairs. Check what yours allows before you put them out.

When will I get it?

Order by 3pm, Monday to Friday, and it is printed today. Collect free from 27 Tabard Street, SE1 4LA, have it couriered across London (arrives same day, £45), or DPD next working day from £6.99.

No artwork. Can you design it?

Yes. Send your logo and the words to hello@rapidprintpro.com and we'll lay it out and send a proof before printing.

Are prices ex VAT?

Yes. 20% VAT is added at checkout. The price box at the top shows both, plus the delivery you've picked.
